Welcome to the Middlewich Concert Orchestra’s new website.
Please bear with us as the site is being developed and visit us regularly.
The Middlewich Concert Orchestra (MCO) comprises musicians of all ages and professional backgrounds. While some members are or have been professional players and/or teachers, the majority of members are keen "amateurs", who enjoy a common interest in playing a wide variety of musical genres.
Membership of the Orchestra is open to anyone who plays a musical instrument from the usual orchestral repertoire. Although there are no qualifying auditions, the minimum playing standard is expected to be around Associated Board Grade 5 to 6.
To contact us: email@example.com
There are a number of vacancies in the Orchestra for string players of all instruments. If you are a string player and live within a reasonably commutable distance of Middlewich, you will be most welcome to join us. If you are interested in joining this friendly and ambitious Orchestra, please contact the Secretary, Gustav Pilsel, via the above email address.
