The Middlewich Concert Orchestra (MCO) comprises musicians of all ages and professional backgrounds. While some members are or have been professional players and/or teachers, the majority of members are keen "amateurs", who enjoy a common interest in playing a wide variety of musical genres.
We are always happy to hear from anyone who plays a musical instrument from the usual orchestral repertoire and is interested in playing with us. In particular, there are currently a number of vacancies in the Orchestra for string players of all instruments.
The orchestra is a member of Making Music, formerly the National Federation of Music Societies.
